What's Inside This Planning Guide?
Based on HAOYUE's 20+ years of furnace installation experience across 30+ countries, this guide consolidates everything your engineering team and MEP contractors need to know before the equipment arrives — eliminating costly on-site surprises.
📐 Equipment Layout & Footprint
Baseline dimensions for P2 (Sinter-HIP), V2 (High Vacuum), S Series (SPS), D2 (Debinding), and G2/H2 (Graphitization/Hot Press) furnaces. Floor loading, ceiling height, and mandatory maintenance clearance specifications included.
⚡ Utility Interface Configuration
Detailed electrical power (380V-500kW), cooling water (80-400 L/min, 15-25°C), process gas (Ar/N₂, 99.999% purity), compressed air, and exhaust duct requirements for each furnace series.
✅ Pre-Installation Readiness
Complete checklist covering civil works, electrical preparation, cooling system setup, gas supply installation, ventilation requirements, and safety equipment — organized by installation phase.
🔧 MEP Contractor Coordination
Guidelines for coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors including interface specifications, pipe diameters (DN32-DN150), grounding requirements (< 4 Ohms), and installation timeline.
💡 Why this matters: Proper pre-installation planning can reduce installation time by up to 30% and prevent costly rework. This guide ensures your facility is ready before the HAOYUE installation team arrives.
Equipment Footprint & Layout Requirements
Use these dimensions to plan your shop floor layout. Maintenance clearance is mandatory — not optional. Insufficient clearance voids warranty and creates safety hazards.
| Series | Furnace Type | Footprint (L×W×H) mm | Min. Ceiling | Floor Load |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P2 | Gas Pressure Sintering (Sinter-HIP) | 3500 × 2500 × 2800 | 4500 mm | 2500 kg/m² |
| V2 | High Vacuum Sintering | 3000 × 2200 × 2500 | 4000 mm | 1500 kg/m² |
| S Series | Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) | 2800 × 2200 × 3200 | 5000 mm | 2000 kg/m² |
| D2 | Vacuum Debinding | 2500 × 1800 × 2200 | 3500 mm | 1000 kg/m² |
| G2/H2 | Graphitization / Hot Press | 3200 × 2400 × 3500 | 5000 mm | 2200 kg/m² |
⚠️ Required maintenance clearances: Front: 1500-2000mm | Rear: 1000-1500mm | Sides: 1000-1500mm
📐 Layout tip: Plan for a minimum of 2000mm in front of the furnace chamber door for loading/unloading access and safe maintenance operations. Overhead clearance must account for hoist rails if planned.
Utility Interface Configuration Matrix
This matrix details the specific water, power, and gas connections required before the HAOYUE installation team arrives on site. Prepare these interfaces in advance to avoid installation delays.

🔌 Electrical note: All HAOYUE furnaces require a dedicated transformer and MCCB. Do not share power with heavy machinery that causes voltage fluctuation. Separate grounding electrode is mandatory for stable PID control operation.
